Our Newest Compatriot, Eugene Foley

In our March Chapter Meeting today we inducted our newest Compatriot Eugene Foley. Eugene is also our Chapter Chaplain and has been working on his final application for shall we say over several years. A man of true patience. Congrats!

Posthumously Honoring Our Newest Member

At today’s Chapter Meeting, President Michael Tieman presented Compatriot Lawrence Kingsella’s membership certificate to Lawrence‘s son, Larry, and brother Compatriot Dave Kingsella. 

Lawrence passed away in December shortly after becoming a member of SAR. Our condolences and respects to the Kingsella family.

Our Chapter was busy this afternoon laying wreaths on the graves of America’s veterans and firing a volley in honor of their service. #wreathsacrossamerica

1:00 pm program at the Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Boulevard. Laying wreaths started at 2pm  at the Cemetery flagpole across the street.

November 3 Chapter Meeting

New SAR member Phillip Erwin inducted today as a member of the Lewis & Clark Chapter. Congratulations Phillip!

His two sons are also SAR members, Compatriots Jackson Erwin and Riley Erwin, and his father-in-law President Michael Tieman is shown swearing him in. A three generation family affair.
