Our Oregon State Society Chaplain, Ken Roberts, will share a prayer with us.

Our Chapter meetings always include a prayer. Unfortunately, we won't be having Chapter meetings while we're fighting COVID-19 by staying home and practicing social distancing. Every Friday until we resume our meetings, our Oregon State Society Chaplain, Ken Roberts, will share a prayer with us.

"O God, our Eternal Father in Heaven, You who have given us such a great country - with its beauty and wealth of opportunities - please continue to inspire our minds and our hearts as we work in our homes in these perilous times. Grant that we might soon be able to return to our various places of employment, churches, schools or other endeavors so that we can again help our neighbors in our communities to regain united strength. 

We pause to ask You to give comfort and healing to our friends, neighbors and compatriots under care in their homes or hospitals and to guide and strengthen the doctors, nurses and those who serve them. May all of us be good examples like the Good Samaritan and do our best to help those that God places in our path for us to help.

Help us to lift America to its true ideals and to its Founders Dreams - especially at this time while we are under a National Emergency."
